Costs specifically attributable to the Paralympic Games. Provide a subsidiary schedule<br />
that details these costs, if not separately included in the other expenditure line items<br />
of this budget, including any direct contribution from the OCOG to the Paralympic<br />
Games. The OCOG’s contribution to the International Paralympic Committee for<br />
broadcasting and marketing rights should be included in this category.<br />
Costs incurred for the advertising and promotion of the Olympic Games. Provide<br />
subsidiary schedules that detail your cost estimates for these items. Costs will<br />
include:<br />
• Advertising and promotion through international and domestic media<br />
• Publication of sports event brochures and reports<br />
• Decoration programme of the city and Look of the Games<br />
• Marketing and sales programme<br />
• Sponsorship sales and servicing, sponsor recognition<br />
• Licensing<br />
• Ticket marketing<br />
• Ticket sales order processing<br />
• Communications, community relations<br />
• Media relations<br />
These pertain to general overhead costs and include the following areas:<br />
• Corporate administrative services<br />
Olympic Games headquarters administrative costs, including: headquarters rental,<br />
fit-out and operating costs, office furniture and equipment, telephone, fax and<br />
postage costs. Executive Office operating costs should be included in this caption.<br />
• Finance<br />
OCOG Finance department operations including, financial accounting, financial<br />
planning, accounts payable and receivable, internal and external audit and treasury<br />
management.<br />
• Risk management<br />
Risk management, insurance & operational safety costs, including premiums for<br />
insurance coverage, brokerage and workplace safety advisory services.<br />
• Legal services<br />
External legal services provided in the field of contract negotiation, legislation,<br />
obligations management, brand protection and litigation.<br />
