Expert – Tips:
Waterfed Pole System
Tip 1:
• Always assemble HiFlo CarbonTec leaning against the wall
from bottom to top. Never try to assemble on the floor and to
set upright afterwards.
• Start with the top element: Choose angle adapter, attach brush.
Connect to CarbonTec unit.
• Connect further elements, sliding the brush up the wall.
• Prepare at least one 0.75 metre element in order to achieve the
optimum height.
Tip 2:
• Attach the water feed adapter between the bottom and the
second element. This way it is always easily accessible.
• It is also required for controlling the RO filter.
HiFlo CarbonTec – The professional solution
Dynamic bending test of the screw connections
• Bending of two connected elements with approx.
40 kg as well as breakage test.
• HiFlo CarbonTec bends 12% less than the secondbest
and 50% less than average products.
• With 750 kg HiFlo CarbonTec carries double the
weight.
Static bending test of the screw connections
• HiFlo CarbonTec does not show any significant
damages.
• The second-best product showed obvious wear,
other tested products showed material breakages
up to complete destruction.
• Result: HiFlo CarbonTec is clearly more robust
than other systems.
Thread test (Quality and strength)
• 1000 x Screwing and unscrewing of two connectors.
• HiFlo CarbonTec showed only light wear.
• The second-best product showed damages to the
coating.
• Other systems showed more severe damages, up to
complete destruction.
• Result: HiFlo CarbonTec is much more durable
under permanent use.
Result: CarbonTec is much more durable under permanent use!
Tip 3:
• Always attach the end cap to the bottom of the last element.
• This secures the position of the pole and protects the connector.
Tip 4:
• Slight bouncing or taking a step forwards and backwards again
helps to balance weight during cleaning.
Tip 5:
• specially on wide buildings, two people should work when using
a 15 metre pole. Cleaner A works in 9 metres height, cleaner B
one floor below in 6 metres height. Both poles can be connected
to the HiFlo water filters at the same time.
