Expert Tips – How To Scrape:<br />
<strong>NEw</strong><br />
• Check if <strong>glass</strong> is scratch-resistant and suitable for scraper use.<br />
(for example do not use on: Plexi<strong>glass</strong>, crown <strong>glass</strong>, solar <strong>glass</strong>, safety <strong>glass</strong> (ESG) etc...,<br />
Follow the manufacturer’s care instructions.)<br />
• Perform a scrape test in advance on a hidden section.<br />
• Check the blade for damage and change it, or reverse it if necessary.<br />
• Always scrape in one direction! Never pull the scraper back - scratch risk!<br />
• Start with a wet surface!<br />
• Adding a cleaning agent, such as "<strong>Unger</strong> liquid", is best.<br />
• Approach edges slowly so you don't cut caulk or damage frames.<br />
• Apply even pressure holding the blade flat against the <strong>glass</strong>.<br />
• After scraping, check if adhesive or stucco residues are stuck to the blade.<br />
If necessary, change or reverse blade.<br />
