Expert Tips – How To Scrape:
NEw
• Check if glass is scratch-resistant and suitable for scraper use.
(for example do not use on: Plexiglass, crown glass, solar glass, safety glass (ESG) etc...,
Follow the manufacturer’s care instructions.)
• Perform a scrape test in advance on a hidden section.
• Check the blade for damage and change it, or reverse it if necessary.
• Always scrape in one direction! Never pull the scraper back - scratch risk!
• Start with a wet surface!
• Adding a cleaning agent, such as "Unger liquid", is best.
• Approach edges slowly so you don't cut caulk or damage frames.
• Apply even pressure holding the blade flat against the glass.
• After scraping, check if adhesive or stucco residues are stuck to the blade.
If necessary, change or reverse blade.
