Merlot Mobile is a mobile dispatch, command and control workstation that allows field
units to work closely with the dispatch centre. Providing the field commander and
field units with up-to-date information on rapidly changing operations, Merlot Mobile
also allows them to receive and send essential information.
Merlot Mobile also includes powerful mapping functions for locating, searching and
routing, allowing a field commander to view the location and status of all assigned
units at a glance. Features include:
Receiving and sending of notification of incidents
• Incident type, urgency, description, site address and place name
• Assigned units and vehicles
Messaging
• Description of victim status
• Status update of units
Integrated mapping functions
• Immediate showing of own position and incident location
• Real time display of other units assigned
Special targets
• Target card activates on alarm: floor plans, sprinkler system, fire extinguishers,
evacuation plans and hazardous materials
The system runs on TETRA (SDS and TETRA IP), GSM (SMS and GPRS), Mobitex, Inmarsat,
UHF-radio and other wireless networks.
