2013 Bridgestone Invitational FactsCHARITABLE PROCEEDS:The Bridgestone Invitational annually generates approximately$800,000 that is distributed to charitable efforts through out NortheastOhio. These proceeds come directly from hospitality and ticket sales.More than $20 million has been given to worthy causes seekingto improve the quality of life in Northeast Ohio. These funds aredistributed through the event’s partner, Northern Ohio Golf Charities.Over the years, more than 200 charities have benefited. Recentrecipients include Akron Children’s Hospital, Susan G. Komen for theCure of Northeast Ohio, the regional Foodbanks of Cleveland, Akronand Canton and The First Tee.
