All these prompted TEDI tocampaign extensively in synergy with othercivil society organizations in Africa, whichlead to electing Transparency and EconomicDevelopment Initiatives into the World BankStrategic Climate Fund/Climate InvestmentFunds representing African Civil Society asan active observer equivalent to UN status.Below is example of human inducedactivities that climate change promotingGreen House Gases (GHG) through use ofdiscarded tyres to retrieve steel tyres threadfor use by rural women for meat hangersand other associated use.
