Wedo not supply an aerial socket within thebedrooms.Parking & VehiclesFor learners who would like to use the carparking facilities at the accommodation, thisis provided free of charge. We will however,require the vehicle’s registration number,a copy of the insurance details, car tax andM.O.T. certificate, along with two forms ofthe owner’s identification.There is a large onsite car park for residentsto use with direct access to the main roadin and out of Grimsby centre. There is alsoample parking at the Grimsby Institute maincampus for residents who need to travel into study and leave their vehicle.Health & Safety InformationFire safety equipment is fully integrated intoall buildings including smoke detectors in allrooms and communal areas, foam and CO2fire extinguishers and fire alarm activationpoints. There are fire exit signs and firenotices to inform residents what to do incase a fire breaks out, and also rally pointsfor residents to meet at a safe distance fromthe building until help arrives.Under UK law, smoking is prohibited withinany of the Halls of Residence or any publicbuilding (this also includes bedrooms). Ifyou wish to smoke, all accommodationblocks have smoking shelters away from thebuilding for the health and safety of otherresidents.As full cooking facilities are provided in theaccommodation, cooking is not allowed inthe building except for the kitchen.
