TheProphet said:“In Islam, it is not permissible to engage ourselvesin difficulties and it is not permissible that wecause difficulty to others.” (Narration of IbnuMajah)We should join hands in improving our lives inall areas that life can offer. We should livetogether and appreciate one another as onepeople. The most important thing is that wemust understand Islam in its proper contextand return back to the teachings of the realAhlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah.Allah says:-“O mankind! We have created you from a maleand female, and then rendered you nations andtribes so that you might know one another. Themost hounourable among you in the sight of Allahis he who is the most pious. Allah is indeedKnowing, Aware.” (Surah Al Hujarat, verse 13)How could we solve this problem of Jihadwhcih has been widely misunderstood?We must firstly grasp Islam with its spirit ofuniversalism. Islam is based on the revelationsin the form of the Quran and the words, actionsand agreement of the Prophet Muhammads.a.w. brought to us by scholars famously knownas al-Hadith. Islam has a rich tradition andcivilisation. Mainstream Islam has been mouldedunder the banner of the Ahlus Sunnah WalJamaah. We need to return to the true24 Masjid Khadijah
