SID ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT 2012 

The Singapore Institute of Directors (SID) is organising its annual golf tournament on 

Sunday, 24 June 2012 at the Tanjong Course of the Sentosa Golf Club. The 

Guest-of-Honour for the event is Minister for Defence, Dr Ng Eng Hen. 

The shotgun teeoff shall start after lunch and there will be a prize giving dinner that 

will end by 9 pm. The format of play is Stableford Points based on the player’s 

handicap calculated using the Double Peoria System. There shall be only one 

division for all participating golfers. Additionally, there will be a challenge trophy 

donated by Keppel Corporation for the Best Team/Flight. 

Our hole-in-one prize is a Mercedes Benz E200 saloon and plus the usual goody 

bags and novelty events for certain holes. As in previous years, the majority of 

golfers will walk away with a lucky draw prize at dinner. 

Companies and individual members are encouraged to sign up for the tournament. 

The sponsorship and participation fees are: 

Gold Sponsor $12,000 per flight 

Silver Sponsor $ 6,000 per flight 

Individual $1,500 per player 

Members and corporations who would like to contribute more are of course 

welcomed and encouraged to do so. Other sponsorships are available. All Corporate 

Flights will be acknowledged in the official tournament magazine. 

The fee is inclusive of green fees, buggy fees, refreshment at halfway house and the 

pre-competition lunch and post competition dinner.
