Had 2 years out of the water at age 18 and returned at age 20 to give it anothershot. Have had to change coaches a number of times and adapt to new training programs and environments. Missing world champs 2007 was hard on me andgetting back into it to try again was tough; WHAT AGE DID YOU START SWIMMING AND WHY? About 7 because it was fun and I enjoyed club nights andcarnivals; FAVOURITE SWIMMER AND WHY? Petria Thomas because of the commitment and dedication it took her over the years to achieve what she did withthe injury problems she had. Also to be able to finish and retire the way she did after 2004 is something you could only dream of; FAVOURITE ATHLETE ANDWHY?
