Bangkok Fight Night 7 - Aug 2010In this shot I am waiting for Devan Plaisance to be announced for his Muay Thai bout withClint Hester. While I was fixed on him, Alix Stalnaker made her way past to enter the ringand I took the shot. I remember thinking how funny it was to briefly lose focus like that,when there was such a serious battle about to take place. For that split second, the guysjust seemed passive. Clint would end up winning the fight with a devastating flying elbowthat split open Devan’s forehead.Wild Bills Fight Night 31 - Oct. 2010Cale Yarbough vs. Clint Hester. This remains my favorite shot so far. It captures the tinymoment that exists right after the victory and before the crowd reacts. Everything in thisshot is compelling. The contrast between victory and defeat. The way that Blake istending to Clint, while at the same time looking up at Cale. The crowd beginning to eruptin the background. Even the photographers lowering their camera. Everything you needto know about the night can be told in this one shot.SportFightX Redline Grand Prix Finals - April 2010Raphael Assuncao advising Diego Saraiva before he enters the cage. The thing thatstruck me about this scene was the way in which Rapha was filming the action with hisFlip Video. Here he is, offering a last minute word while Diego is climbing in to the cage,and he’s capturing the moment for himself.
