PREMIA FEATURES THAT MAKE THE DIFFERENCEEASY TO LOAD, EASY TO EMPTY:A WELL-DESIGNED HOPPERTo facilitate loading, the hopper has a wide opening with thecover even opening to more than 90°. That means an easyfi lling by bucket or big bag. The gas springs facilitatethe opening of the cover even on machines which are 4 mwide. The bottom of KUHN seed drill hoppers is V-shaped.This reduces the residual quantity and ensures a uniformmetering unit feed.The standard agitator is oscillating, thus handling the seedswith care. For rye grass, which seeds do not fl ow easily, anextra agitator is available as option.SAVINGSMARKERS WITH VERTICAL LIFTPREMIA hoppers can be equipped with side markers.They are always lifted vertically for reduced dimensionsduring manoeuvring and are equipped with a shear boltsafety for protection in case of hitting an obstacle. Onthe 3.50 and 4.00 m models they are also foldable toreduce its height during transport.6

KUHN PATENTUNIFORM SEED IMPLANTATIONFor seeding in light soil, a set of discwheel track eradicators is available asoption (only for standard wheels).
