We can arrange yourtransfers at an additional cost.Date ChangeAny change of your return journey dateafter departure from India, will attracta ‘Change in Reservation Fee’, payabledirectly to the airline. This fee may rangefrom USD 75 to 200 or more per person.Class Of TravelPassengers can upgrade to Business /First Class by paying the difference in theairfare at the time of booking the tour.Note:If traveling on your own after the tour ends,the responsibility to reconfirm air ticketswould be yours.TaxesThe tour price does not include airport,government taxes and fuel charges orany other taxes that may be levied, unlessspecified otherwise.Arrival / Departure TransfersAs other members of your group wouldbe flying from different hubs from India,you would be required to wait for sometime so that they can join you at thearrival area as common airport pick-upfacility is provided for the entire group.Also in view of the common airport dropfacility provided for your group, youwould be required to travel to the airportalong with other group members eventhough your flight time is later than othermembers of your group.THINGS TO CARRY ON TOURIn general, carry 4 to 5 pairs of casualclothing like jeans, trousers, shorts,T-shirts, shirts, Punjabi dresses, sarees,swimwear, comfortable walking shoesand a formal attire for occasions like aGala Evening Dinner, Captain’s Dinner,Casino visit. In Europe, Australia and NewZealand you will need to additionally carrythermal wear / warm clothing like woolensweaters / pullovers, shawls, warm socks,warm jacket, stockings, gloves and a windcheater. In USA, Buffalo & San Francisco canbe comparatively cooler than other cities.Carry some woolen pullovers / shawls.BAGGAGE INFORMATIONPlease travel light as porters are notalways available. Bags with wheels areadvised as you need to carry your bags atthe airports, from /to the coach, hotels,etc. Expect to pay upto Euros 2/- or USD2/- per suitcase per way to porters.For USA, your tour price includesporterage of one bag per person at hotelsfor the duration of the tour. Your check-inbaggage should be locked (not on flightswithin the USA) and clearly labeled for easyidentification both inside and outside.Never accept any parcel / bags from anystrangers / co-passengers. Be alert whileloading / unloading your luggage lest yoube robbed.We recommend an overnight bag with thebare essentials for the overnight stays insome hotels.AIRLINE BAGGAGE ALLOWANCEEconomy class passengers may carry upto20 kgs of check-in baggage per personand one piece of hand luggage not morethan 5 kgs.For USA, economy class passengersmay carry upto 2 pieces of check-inbaggage per person each weighing notmore than 23 kgs and one piece of handluggage not more than 5 kgs. For InternalFlights within USA, you will have to paythe applicable ‘Baggage Handling Fee’ ofUS$ 25 - US$35 or more per bag persector, directly to the airline duringcheck-in, as per the airline policy.Excess baggage payment varies on lowcost airlines and is 1.5% of normal IATAfare on other airlines. Travellers to USA,Canada and on low cost carriers areliable to pay for their luggage as perairline policy.Please note that, airline / baggage policiesare revised from time to time. HAND BAGGAGE / ESSENTIAL /PERSONAL ITEMSYour hand baggage should include toiletries,sun glasses, extra set of prescriptionglasses, torch, umbrella, sweater / shawl,camera / video (batteries to be removedand kept in the check-in baggage), film rollsor video cassettes, universal electric plugpin, international roaming cellular phone,SIM card and charger if necessary and aset of clothes. Valuables should not be putin the check-in baggage and should be keptin hand baggage only, along with medicineswith doctor’s prescriptions.Medicines need prescriptions, with a druggeneric name listed, as the brand namediffers across countries.Note:Airline rules regarding baggage keepchanging. All your baggage will be screenedand possibly hand-searched as part of thesecurity measures.Travellers may carry limited quantities ofliquids, gels or pastes in containers notexceeding 3 oz or 90 ml. The containersmust be carried in a separate clear plastic,zip-top or re-sealable bag that does notexceed 20cm x 20cm. At the airport, theplastic bag must be removed from thecabin bag and be x-rayed separately.TRAVEL DOCUMENTSYou should carry your Cox and Kingsservice vouchers, hotel contact list, airlinetickets, your passport, passport-sizedphotographs, overseas travel insurancepolicy, emergency contact numbers,travellers cheques / foreign exchange prepaidcard, etc. with you.Please carry a photocopy of all thedocuments listed above including valid visapages, which are to be kept separatelyfrom the original.Example: photocopy in your suitcase andthe original passport with you on person.Important:• Keep one set of these documents withyour family / relatives in India• Carry one set with you on the tour inyour handbag.• Carry one set with you on the tour inyour suitcase / check-in baggage.This is necessary should you lose ormisplace any of your documents whilst ontour.If you are carrying Travellers Cheques,please keep the purchase receipt in a safeplace, away from the original TravellersCheques. Your passport is required asidentification to encash your travellerscheques. Most credit cards and US Dollartravellers cheques are widely accepted.VISASPlease ensure you have the appropriatevisas for going on the tour. Applying well inadvance is always beneficial.In fact, in the current scenario it would befar more prudent to furnish all documentsat least four months before the departuredate to avoid disappointments.At the very least, it is your responsibilityto promptly furnish to us all documentsrequired for application of your visas etc.latest by 45 days before the departure date.Given the security concerns and the overcautiousapproach adopted by embassiesand consulates, visa processing can takequite long. We assist you in preparing andsubmitting the visa application based ondocuments provided by you. We cannottake responsibility of getting your visagranted. Grant / rejection of visas is thesole discretion of embassy / consulate.We only act as a facilitator for obtainingvisas.
