EASTVijayawada Central : Branch jointly organiseda shobha yatra from local I.G.M. Stadium to statueof Swami Vivekanand covering a distance of around2 km. More than 250 members & guests participatedin the yatra. In this yatra branch members and someguests wore specially printed T shirts and whitecaps printed with BVP logo and 150 th anniversaryslogan of Swami Vivekanand.PUNJAB SOUTHKotkapura : On the eve of Swami ji's 150 th yearcelebration, the branch organised Safai competitionamong all municipal wards of the city to make cityclean and to encourage safai sevaks. On penultimateday after inspection the winners 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd wereawarded cash prizes of Rs. 5100, 3100 and 2100respectively by local SDM. Municipal Commissioner,Sh. Jaipal Garg, Zonal Secretary Project, Sh. RamKumar Garg, Sh. T.R. Arora Dist. President were alsopresent. Sh. Kamal Garg was the compere. Holifestival of color and women's day was celebrated on08.03.2012.
