Demonstrated ability to supervise children<strong>Child</strong>care Services ManagerThe individual in this position will plan and implement childcareprograms according to the philosophy <strong>of</strong> the child care centre, standards<strong>of</strong> Alberta Provincial regulations and other policies, acts or regulationsthat may be applicable. In addition to planning and implementingteacher and child-centered activities, the individual will fulfill regularchildcare, teaching and housekeeping duties.1. Ensure safety and welfare <strong>of</strong> each child;2. Plan and implement a suitable program to ensure good quality childcare and to meet the needs <strong>of</strong> all children, utilizing clear and conciseroutines, rules and limits;3. Create, plan and prepare developmentally appropriate, interesting andimaginative activities for the needs <strong>of</strong> each individual child as well asfor the needs <strong>of</strong> the group;4. Perform and be responsible for housekeeping tasks and all dutiesoutlined in the daily shift requirements;5. Ensure the safety and maintenance <strong>of</strong> the equipment and toys at alltimes;6. Maintain close communication with the <strong>Assistant</strong> Manager on thedevelopment and progress <strong>of</strong> each child, and all issues regarding the<strong>Jasper</strong> Centre for Early <strong>Child</strong>hood Learning and Care;7. Create and maintain an appropriate learning environment for childrenbirth to 6 years;8.
