Loved by many for their beauty and utility, the
Artemisias are aromatic and medicinally
active. Excessive dosage potentially toxic.
Plants prefer full sun and dryish soils. Sow in
fall or early spring. Light-dependent germinators.
Mix very tiny seed with sand before
sprinkling on surface and tamping in, so that
the seedlings do not crowd. Drought tolerant
and allelopathic.
