Chastain ’78, art, will go toTokyo as a participant in the JapanFulbright Memorial Fund Teacher Program.She is an art teacher at Maranacook HighSchool in Readfield, Maine. A panel of educatorsselected Chastain for the honor froma national pool of more than 1,700 applicants.The program allows distinguishedprimary and secondary school educators inthe United States to travel to Japan forthree weeks to promote interculturalunderstanding.Betty Madden Peppiatt ’79, elementaryeducation, has joined ERA First Advantageas a sales associate in Newburgh, Indiana.1980sPhyllis L.
