National Museum of Natural History- Scientist ‘B’ in the Pay Scale of Rs. 15,600-39,100with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- in Pay Band - 3(i) Post No. 1/NMNH - Five [05] posts [SC-01,ST-01, UR-03]Essential Educational Qualifications/ ExperienceMaster’s Degree in Zoology/Botany either with at least a Diploma or a certificate of completion ofcourse in Museology of a duration of not less than 10 months or two years’ experience of workingin a State/ National Museum, preferably in Natural History Section.Desirable Qualifications(i) Experience of field work in natural history collections and their preservation & documentation,(ii) Knowledge and experience in development of thematic exhibitions and programmes,(iii) Knowledge of latest display design and multi-media presentation.Duties and Job requirements:-(i) To assist in Curatorial responsibilities with development and management of Natural HistoryCollections, exhibitions and related educational and extension services,(ii) To assist in planning, development and organization of Museum.Place of Posting:- National Museum of Natural History, New Delhi, with liability to be postedanywhere in India.

AGE LIMITThe upper age limit for Scientist ‘B’ is 35 years, relaxable by five (05) years for GovernmentServants. For SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped and Ex-servicemen, age limit is relaxable as perrules.
