CLUB OF THE MONTHCOMPETITIONENTER NOWTO WINWoonona <strong>Pony</strong> <strong>Club</strong> are the winners <strong>of</strong> the January <strong>Club</strong> <strong>of</strong> the Month compe‐on. Woonona is the 63rd <strong>Club</strong> to win the <strong>Club</strong> <strong>of</strong> the month since its inceponin 2007. They have won themselves a fantasc prize pack including;• $600 Horseland Prize Pack from Horseland• $100 gi cerficate from Australian Show Ribbons• <strong>Club</strong> pr<strong>of</strong>ile published in the Horse Downunder magazine (pending publisherapproval and quality <strong>of</strong> photos)Woonona <strong>Pony</strong> <strong>Club</strong>’s winning entry is as follows;BY Belinda Coleman, Woonona <strong>Pony</strong> <strong>Club</strong>Woonona <strong>Pony</strong> <strong>Club</strong>, Zone 22 meets every 2‐4 weeks at Hollymount Park inWoonona. The club has been running for more than 30 years and currently hasapproximately 30 riding members ranging in age from 3 to 20 + and plenty <strong>of</strong>non‐riding members who are our valued volunteers.The club <strong>of</strong>fers instrucon in the following disciplines: Sporng, MountedGames, Versality, Dressage, Jumping, Cross Country and Show Riding as wellas lessons in proper horse care and safety.A typical rally day involves line up and gear check followed by group allocaons.Each group then rotates through a series <strong>of</strong> acvies that are set up throughout the grounds.Other fundraising, or social, events run at Woonona <strong>Pony</strong> club include parcipa‐on in the Woonona Bulli RSL annual Anzac Day parade, summer me "Jump<strong>Club</strong>" and <strong>of</strong> course our annual gymkhana. Each year we have riders compengat state championship level in a variety <strong>of</strong> disciplines.The best thing about being a member <strong>of</strong> Woonona <strong>Pony</strong> <strong>Club</strong> is having the opportunityto make great friends who share a love <strong>of</strong> riding.HOW TO ENTER: Email the belowto markeng@pcansw.org.au with thesubject heading ‘<strong>Club</strong> <strong>of</strong> the Month’.1.
