Urine testing is especially important within the scope of medical
diagnostics. To this end, urine testing using test strips offers a
simple analysis method combined with rapid results provided even
during the actual examination.
The Urintest 11 Veyx® test strips had been developed specially for
veterinary diagnostics. The test strips can be used in 9 animal species
and measure 11 parameters. With 11 measured parameters, a
very broad range of possible diseases or metabolic disorders are
covered, thus increasing the reliability of diagnosis.
Measurement of ascorbic acid (vitamin C) is particularly complex
using a test strip, as the measured values for blood and glucose
can be adulterated by ascorbic acid. Thus Urintest 11 Veyx® has
an integrated protection against ascorbic acid: The blood and glucose
test fi elds are protected against interference through ascorbic
acid. The validity of both test strips is maintained.

Urintest 11 Veyx® is an easy to use product. The test fi elds are set
on a white stable backing foil with a long area for gripping. The
test fi eld array corresponds to that of the test fi elds on the container
label. Only 2 timepoints must be observed during the whole
of the test evaluation.
The analysis can be carried out visually based on the colour scale
parameter on the label. The unique colour change in the relevant
clinical range ensures confi dent test analysis.
The test strips are kept safely in the aluminium container. The label
is washable – this is particularly important for use in livestock
housing. The label is printed using stable and colourfast lacquer
point colours and enables a reliable colour comparison with the
reaction colours for all 100 tests. The plastic stopper contains a
desiccant, so that the test strips are protected from moisture.

Application
Rapid test for diagnostics and early diagnosis of diabetes, liver
and haemolytic diseases, metabolic disorders and infections of the
urogenital tract in animals.
Please note
A macroscopic examination of the urine should always be carried
out along with a test strip diagnosis (colour, turbidity, smell,
volume).
