Mission StatementAt no time in modern history has energyplayed a more crucial role in the developmentand well being of nations than atpresent. The source and nature of energy,the security of supply and the equity ofdistribution, the environmental impact ofits supply and utilization, are all crucialmatters to be addressed by suppliers, consumers,governments, industry, academia,and financial institutions.The World Renewable Energy Congress(WREC), a major recognised forum fornetworking between these sectors, addressesthese issues through regular meetingsand exhibitions, bringing togetherrepresentatives of all those involved inthe supply, distribution, consumption anddevelopment of energy sources which arebenign, sustainable, accessible and economicallyviable.
