7. If the 12 Volt battery charger has been properly<br />
connected and the system determines that the conditions<br />
are correct for charging, the Navigation radio will display<br />
a message “CHARGING in Progress”.<br />

NOTE: To minimize the charging time, it is recommended<br />
to leave the key in the OFF position while in the<br />
“CHARGING in Progress” mode, however the key may<br />
be turned to the ON/RUN position to use an accessory.<br />
Allow the system to charge until the Navigation radio<br />
displays the “Attempt to start vehicle” message.<br />

8. Attempt to start the vehicle, if the vehicle starts, leave<br />
it running and turn off the 12 Volt battery charger.
