Auction Policies and ProceduresLive Auction●●Begins at approximately 9pm following dinner and presentations.●●Auctioneer will start the bidding for each item. Bidders raise their paddlein response to the auctioneer’s call for bids. All bids are final. Winning biddermay pay immediately following the item’s sale or at the end of the evening.●●If the bidder cannot pay for the item, the Auction Committee will determinewho the next winner is or will hold the item for payment.●●Certain items are subject to restrictions. All restrictions and specificarrangements must be honored.●●All sales are final. No exchanges or refunds. Auction items may only beremoved at the end of the evening by showing a PAID RECEIPT.Silent Auction●●Each item in the silent auction has a bid sheet nearby. Bidders write theirpaddle number and table number next to the amount.●●Use only the paddle number assigned to you.●●Each new bid must be written on the next blank line available on the sheet.Silent auction bids must meet the “minimum increment” listed on the sheet tobe valid.●●If the winning bidder is unable to take delivery of the item, the second highestbidder will be considered, but it does not guarantee a winner.●●When the emcee announces the closing of a silent auction area, the personsigning the bid sheet may finish the bid but no new bids are allowed.●●Once the winning bid has been identified and processed, a runner will delivera yellow receipt to the appropriate table. You must take your yellow sheet tocheckout to pay for your item. If you are an Express Check Out Guest, youryellow receipt will be marked “paid” and you can claim your item.●●All winning bidders must sign for their items at pick up.Payment and RestrictionsPayment methods include cash, personal checks made payable to the WDSRAFoundation, VISA and MasterCard. After paying, give your paid receipt(s) tothe table monitor at the appropriate table to pick up your items and sign forthem. All final bids must be honored. All items are sold “as is” and subject tothe conditions specified. NO refunds or exchanges will be made by any of theproviders unless specified. You are responsible for getting your items home.
