36SUMMER INTERNSHIPA distinguished feature of the NITIE pedagogy is the 8-week summer internship. The objective of this practicalmanagement assignment is to incline the students towards application of the classroom learning that they get.The hands-on experience challenges the students to generate fresh perspectives on business problems andto deliver acceptable and innovative solutions to the client. It also assists the students to be more receptiveto the market needs and to gain insight into their areas of interest, so as to facilitate their specialization in thesecond year.
