APPLICATION FORMApplication for using semen from sires that are not approved by DanishWarmblood and / or not on Danish Warmblood's official stallion listIn order to let the Dansk Varmblod mare owners use good foreign sporthorse stallions with the purpose to improve the mareowner’s breedingstock, it has been decided that sires that are not approved by Dansk Varmblod or not on Dansk Varmblod’sofficial stallion list, but approved by another of the by Dansk Varmblod approved sporthorse studbooks (please see in “Rulesfor stallion grading”) can be used for breeding Dansk Varmblod offspring. Not all of them can be used, as such sires mustcorrespond to the quality demands on the back side of this application form, if the offspring is to be registered with DanskVarmblod, get marked with the crown and wave and this way to achieve the same possibilties as other foals bred within theframes of Dansk Varmblod. Quality demands regarding the breeding value of the used sire:Germany:The stallion must be graded in one of the studbooks listed in 1.3 in “Rules for stalliongrading in USA”. If the stallion belongs to the socalled group of younger stallions (oldestoffspring placed in competition max 6 years old) or group 1 (oldest offspring placed incompetition 7-14 yo) the stallion must fulfill at least one of the following demands:1. Passed station test in Leistungsklasse 1 (score of 120 or more or at least a score of 130in either dressage or jumping)2. Genetic evalueations among the best 10% of the breed in either dressage or jumping3. Placings on international S-levelIf the stallion belongs to group II (oldest offspring placed in competitions more than 15yo), the stallion must fulfill either point 2 or 3. Furthermore, young stallions are approved,if they have passed a 30-day-test. The permission is valid in the year of passing the testand the year after, according to the rules of the respective studbook.The Netherlands:The stallion must be selected to the KWPN sporthorse studbook, and must have passed astation test. If genetic evaluations based on competition results in either dressage orjumping have been made for the stallion, these must be at least 126, thus correspondingto the best 10% of the breed.France:The stallion must belong to the best 10% in jumping, corresponding to a BSO geneticevaluation of at least 13.Other countries:The breeding value of the stallion must be at the same level as the above listed conditions.NB!It is the duty of the applying mare owner to find and enclose documentaion of the aboveresults.
