Your admissionnumber is copy your admission number from website and write here)------------ Congratulations and“Karibu!” We expect you to arrive on Tuesday 5 th November 2010 so that you can takepart in the orientation for new students beginning on Wednesday 5 th November 2010.Please bring this letter and original certificates or result slips (Form IV and Form VI)plus your birth certificate with you when you present yourself for registration at SAUTupon arrival on 5 th November 2010. Kindly note that late registration, i.e. after theorientation week is liable to a penalty of Tshs 10,000/=.Consistent, methodical study will be required for you to succeed in your studies. Regularevaluations will be made, usually at the end of each semester.2. General ConductAs a student preparing yourself for the teaching career, you will be required to beexemplary at all times in terms of conduct and behave in a manner befitting the teachingprofession. You will be issued with a code of conduct at the time of registration. Thecode of conduct shall form part of your assessment for your degree programme.3. Hostel Accommodation on CampusThe accommodation policy of SAUT is both on-campus and off-campus. Most of thestudents stay off-campus. Off-campus students have to take care of theiraccommodation arrangements. The University is not directly involved in looking for offcampusaccommodation. SAUT Main Campus has two sites, i.e at Nyegezi andMalimbe. You are kindly cautioned to note that the University has limited facilities foraccommodation.Please note that, priority will be given to:International students, students with physical disabilities and firstyear students from outside Mwanza region and special cases.NB: 1.Students are requested not to pay for accommodation onreceipt of Joining Instructions. Payment will be madeafter he/she has been allocated a room.2. Academic activities shall be conducted from Mondaythrough Saturday.

4. Payment of Fees and RegistrationSAUT will register students who have paid tuition fees and other fees as shown in theinvoice before registration day.All payment should be made through the Bank indicated in the invoice.5. Learning Facilities:A. Special EquipmentMass Communication and Journalism Students must have a professional camera (eithera 35mm SLR or a 120mm, preferably with flash) and a portable cassette tape recorder.Business Administration, Accountancy, Procurement and Logistics and HealthAdministration Students must have a Calculator.B.
