A special camera captures the relevant traffi c signs and a control unit processes the informationtogether with data from the navigation system. This means thatthe system can even pass on variable speed limits to the driver in, for example, wet conditions.Surround View, Side View and rear view camera. These optional systems enhance visibility of the area around the vehicle whenmanoeuvring. Surround View presents an image of the BMW as seen from above in the Control Display. Side View ensures bettervisibility when joining a main road from a side street or exit.
