LEGOrEDO ® tOWN
In the exciting western town you will find hardened gunslingers walking among the gold diggers and redskins.
LEGO ® Canoe offers a wild canoe trip down the raging river on the prairie. There are lots of wild LEGO animals in
the area, so the trip takes you up close to rattlesnakes, dangerous bears and busy beavers. The trip ends with a
speedy descent down a spraying waterfall.
In LEGOLDMINE, little gold diggers wash out their own gold in the wooden troughs, and have it melted into a shiny
gold coin. At the big mountain, the Mine Train is ready to take you on an exciting trip through the gold mine, where
the miners are busy digging for gold. The Indian Camp is right in the heart of LEGOREDO ® Town. Chief Long Ear is
pleased to accept new tribal warriors, who can help him bake bread over the campfire, enjoy the company of his
lovely squaw and play in the tepee.
LEGO City is a large city in miniature, with a fire station and a large factory production hall with exciting Power
Builder robots. At the LEGO City fire station you can realise your dream of becoming a fireman. Eight big, bright
red LEGO fire engines are lined up and ready to go. The families get ready, and when the signal is given, everyone
has to rush to the pumps, drive the fire engines to where the fire is and spray loads of water on the “burning”
building. When the “fire” has been put out, the families hurry back to the fire engine and drive back to the fire
station. A fun activity for the entire family, to see which family makes the fastest and most effective fire brigade!
Next to the area there is a stand, where you can sit and follow the fire drills close-up. Falck, the fire and rescue
service, helped build the fire station. When the children are on their way to the fire engines, they pass a screen
with short films and posters that teach them about putting out fires.
- each visitor programmes his or her own trip!
The visitors are in for quite a special experience when they step into the Power Builder hall. The steel set,
machines, smoke along the floor and the 100 spotlights create a special high-tech world. The light fades up
and down in different patterns in the room and each robot is fitted with four spotlights on top and six on the
bottom, creating a sense of weightlessness when the robot trip starts. The visitors can see which movements are
possible, on the touch screens. in groups of two, visitors can create their own unique experience. Short film clips
show how the movements work. The visitor gets a plastic card with a microchip containing the chosen actions.
Once the visitor is seated and the card has been put into the machine, the trip starts. Each of the 10 robot arms
are fitted with two chairs. Each arm has six movable joints, allowing it to tip and rotate in all directions. This trip can
be fun, wild or completely wacko! It’s all up to you!.
• LEGOLAND ® has selected 70 movements that can be combined at 5 levels for a total of 1.4 million ride combinations
• The gravitational constant of the most extreme movements is +1.9G and – 1.9G. +1.9G
corresponds to being pressed downwards in the seat by nearly the double of one’s body weight -1,9G means that one is
lifted from the seat and experiences a moment of weightlessness
• The highest position is 5 metres above the floor – and perhaps upside down!
