Transmission Control Unit <strong>Systems</strong>The new breed in automatic transmissions arecontrolled by electronic control units. Our newestoffering is a Transmission Control Unit (TCU)specifically designed to allow the user maximumcontrol <strong>and</strong> tuning via our T-Com software. Theuser has the choice of line pressures, shift timing<strong>and</strong> firmness of shift for both upshift <strong>and</strong> downshiftpoints. A feature exclusive to T-Com is the ability tohave part throttle shifts as a function of road speed<strong>and</strong> Wide Open Throttle shifts as a function of engineRPM. Plus, T-Com makes tuning quick <strong>and</strong> simple.Initial calibration only requires answering a few quickquestions in the calibration program.
