BALTIMORE RVP PROMOTIONS 14 I Events t took three invitations from his friend to get Craig Kotter to an ACN presentation, but he finally relented and discovered an opportunity that could change his family’s life. After signing up, Craig and wife Chelsea realized that a similar amount of persistence would help them reach their goals. Craig began the business to help provide more for his family financially. Knowing the motivation behind his drive, one of Craig’s mentors advised him, “Stick with me and stick with this opportunity.” Craig never forgot that. Even when others doubted him, he remained focused on his goal. After hard work and sacrifice, Craig gained not only financial freedom but the belief of others as well. Within a few years, Craig and Chelsea built one of the largest organizations in ACN, culminating with their promotion to Regional Vice President during the Baltimore International Training Event. On stage, Chelsea apologized for being among those who once doubted her husband and thanked him for pulling her along. “ACN is the best thing to ever happen to us,” she said. Added Craig, “If my best friend would not have made that phone call and pursued me after those three times that I rejected him, I would not be here. This company has literally changed our lives. It has been worth everything. And if you do not stick this thing out, you are crazy.” F or Michel Emond and Dany Vachon, success is not just about money. It’s about freedom. Craig & Chelsea Kotter Both men were looking for a way to escape their burdensome jobs before finding ACN. Employed at a pharmaceutical company, Michel felt he was forced to work with people he didn’t respect and wasn’t getting paid what he was worth. Dany, a musician, felt trapped into playing festivals and clubs just for money instead of enjoying the freedom to pick his own venues. Michel was introduced to ACN and was so impressed with the opportunity that he lost sleep dreaming of the possibilities. With support from company leaders, Michel presented the opportunity to Dany, a former co-worker, and the two formed a powerful partnership. The Canadian men built a strong organization, rose through the ranks and were promoted to the position of Regional Vice Presidents during the Baltimore International Training Event. On stage, Michel said partnering with Dany was the best decision he made. “Before I met Dany, my business was going slow, slow, slow. And then boom, the business explodes like this. And after that, I started to find other players in my business. So maybe if you haven’t found a leader, don’t stop. Maybe the next one will be the leader.” Dany advised new representatives to be coachable, listen to ACN leaders and never quit. “You can do it. We did it. A lot of leaders did it. Events Representatives Make a Difference in Baltimore with Outpouring of Generosity The Honorable Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr., Governor of Maryland, and the First Lady of Maryland, Kendel Ehrlich, were on hand as ACN made a donation of $100,000 to the Maryland Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Donations by ACN representatives were matched by ACN to equal $82,000 with Guest Speaker Donald J. Trump offering a last-minute donation to bring the donation to six figures. Surely weighing heavily on each attendee’s mind as they reached deep into their pockets was the touching story shared by Wendy West and her daughter Megan on Saturday morning. The courage and faith this duo showed in the face of Cystic Fibrosis served as an inspiration to all. In a letter to ACN, Wendy told of the difference ACN representatives made that weekend… Megan and I were thrilled at the response we got from ACN. So many people shared their own stories with us and touched us with their generosity and kindness. It is always hard to share our story since we cannot predict a happy ending. But every time I do share our story and people respond the way ACN did, it makes it all worthwhile. That day, I proved to myself and my daughter that I can do anything I set my mind to. And that, in turn, showed Megan that she can do anything she sets her mind to. I was absolutely terrified to speak in front of such a large group. Megan, as always, helped me through it. She is a true inspiration the way she always perseveres. I know that I must also persevere. We would like to thank all ACN representatives, employees and Donald Trump for creating such an amazing memory for Megan and I. The money that was donated will go to valuable research. In the past, research has given us drugs like Pulmozyme, which helps thin mucus so that CF patients can expel it easier, and Tobi, which helps fight lung infections. There are so many new drugs that might hold the key to a cure, but money is needed to complete studies. Thank you again for choosing CF as your charity and making a huge difference in the life of CF families like mine. Megan will have the amazing memories from the conference to hold on to for a lifetime.
