Provides personal security monitoring via your mobile phone using SMS messaging<br />
or optional high security 24 hour back-to-base monitoring. The SMS8 is a complete<br />
hardwired alarm system for your home or offi ce including 3 high quality PIR movement<br />
sensors and 4 reed switches for your doors or windows. It is easy to program and can<br />
communicate alarm conditions with up to 2 people via their mobile phones. It is also<br />
possible to connect to a back-to-base monitoring service provider of your choice for a<br />
higher level of protection. Communication is sent using the industry standard Contact<br />
ID communication protocol.<br />
Please note: a SIM card is NOT required - SMS messages are sent via your landline.<br />
The SMS messaging function can be disabled if desired so as to operate as a regular<br />
‘dialer’ alarm control panel only. All programming is done via a simple menu driven<br />
system, with large easy to read characters on an LCD keypad. The keypad is backlit<br />
for easy viewing at night.<br />
The panel has been specifi cally designed in Australia to meet the requirements of the<br />
average home or offi ce, and to be easily installed by either a trade professional or<br />
electronics handyperson.<br />
