<strong>Structure</strong> Rationale<br />

To maximize effectiveness in providing critical supports to all schools, each member of the <strong>DCS</strong><br />

<strong>Coaching</strong> <strong>Team</strong> will be assigned a portfolio of schools and will serve as their assigned schools’<br />

primary contact for all coaching needs. Lead <strong>Achievement</strong> Coaches will maintain the overall<br />

responsibility of their designated district focus (i.e. District-Wide Early College, Common<br />

Core/Essential Standards, Data Analysis) by creating professional development materials and<br />

content within their respective areas and providing that to the <strong>DCS</strong> <strong>Achievement</strong> <strong>Coaching</strong> <strong>Team</strong><br />

and/or <strong>DCS</strong> Curriculum <strong>Team</strong> for delivery within all schools and to district administrators.<br />

<strong>Achievement</strong> Coaches will support the development of professional development materials and<br />

content as needed, and share in the responsibility of delivering professional development to schools<br />

and to district administrators. In the event that support is needed in providing professional<br />

development and coaching to any school in a coach’s portfolio, one or more members of the <strong>DCS</strong><br />

<strong>Achievement</strong> <strong>Coaching</strong> <strong>Team</strong> will be asked provide that support.<br />
