accept and agree with the registration rules. Please read the
pre-registration rules before beginning the procedure.

METHOD OF PRE-REGISTRATION
• All registrations must be submitted online at www.
eraedta2012.org.
• If you live in a geographical area where secure access
to the internet is not available contact the ERA-
EDTA Congress Office (Registrations Dept.) for help,
explaining the problem. Email: registrations@eraedta.org,
fax +39-0521-959242.
• You can take advantage of the pre-registration
discounted fees only if both registration form and
payment are sent within the deadlines.
• No registration is valid without payment.
• The deadline for registering with the Early Registration
fee is February 20, 2012.
• The deadline for registering with the Late Registration
fee is April 23, 2012.
• If you are already a Full Member, an Associate Member,
a Senior Member or a Junior Member of ERA-EDTA
you are entitled to pay a reduced fee, but only if your
membership status is regular, i.e. if you have settled
the payment of your annual fee (2012).
Please remember that in order to be able to register
for the Congress as a member, both the membership
as well as the membership fees must be submitted and
paid (respectively) no later than February 13, 2012 for
the early pre-registration deadline and April 16, 2012
for the late pre-registration deadline.
• In case you are not able to complete your online
registration because of a system error, please inform
the ERA-EDTA Congress Office and provide details
of the error message on your computer. Email:
registrations@era-edta.org, fax +39-0521-959242.
• If you are unable to attend the congress you can cancel
your registration, within certain limits and conditions
(see the Cancellation Policy terms below). Name
changes are not allowed, so you cannot give your
registration to another person.

METHOD OF PAYMENT
• You can pay online by credit card (Visa and MasterCard
only) at the same time as you submit your registration
or
• By direct money transfer to the ERA-EDTA bank
account, before submitting your registration. The
details of the ERA-EDTA bank account are provided
below. Euro (EUR) is the only accepted currency.
The bank’s fees for the money transfer must be paid
by the sender. If the amount you send is incorrect
and not sufficient to cover your registration fee your
registration will not be valid. Be sure to include, as
the reason for payment, your name and registration id
number, otherwise it would not be possible for ERA-
EDTA to match your payment with your registration.
If you are a sponsor and are registering a group,
include, as the reason for payment, the company
name and registration id number of group.
• Cash payments will be accepted only for on-site
registrations.

INVOICES AND RECEIPTS
• If you need to be billed in order to make a payment,
please tick the appropriate box in the online form,
section “payment”. Please note that ERA-EDTA will
not issue VAT invoices. In fact this congress is an
educational initiative for professionals, directly
provided by a Registered Charity (ERA-EDTA) and not
subject to VAT.
• Receipts are not sent automatically. If you need
one, remember to tick the appropriate box in the
registration form.
CONFIRMATION AND DELIVERY
OF CONGRESS MATERIALS
• After you register you will receive by post a
confirmation letter, together with congress materials
(badge and coffee tickets). These will be sent after the
set deadlines.
• Congress bags and badge-holders can be picked up at
the Bag Distribution Desk located in the Registration
Area of the Congress Centre, starting May 24, 2012 at
07.00 a.m., by having your badge scanned.
• Do not forget your badge! A replacement badge will
cost EUR 10.00.
• If you are registered by a sponsor, the company or
institution that is inviting you may have chosen
to receive your materials, in that case they will be
responsible for handing it to you. If you need further
information, please contact the sponsor.
