PRE-REGISTRATION OF GROUPS
• If you need to register 3 or more delegates you can
follow a special procedure that will enable you to
download an excel sheet from the congress website, fill
it in (offline) with the data of your guests, and submit it
to ERA-EDTA Congress Office only at a later stage, after
you are sure it is complete. The entire procedure must
be completed within the set deadlines. Instructions
about this procedure will be sent to companies that
registered large groups at the last ERA-EDTA congress
and upon request.
• Both the registration form and payment must be sent
within the set deadlines, which are the same as for
individual registrations.
• The confirmation letters and congress material will be
sent to you or to another person that you will name, at
the address you will provide. Please provide just one
address, as the ERA-EDTA will not send the congress
materials to multiple addresses.
• You are requested to provide an individual address for
each person in your list of guests, even if ERA-EDTA
will not send the materials directly to them.
• Name substitutions for completed registrations cannot
be accepted.
GROUP REGISTRATIONS WITH DEFERRED LIST
(Blank List)
• If you represent a company or an institution that
wishes to pre-register a group of 10 or more delegates,
you can take advantage of the Blank List method. This
procedure has two separate stages.
• In the first stage, within the deadline of February 20,
2012, you must make the appropriate booking, through
the specific online form and pay the due amount.
• In the second stage you provide by means of the
online form, the ERA-EDTA Congress Office with the
complete list of the people you are registering by the
set deadline.

ON-SITE REGISTRATION
• On-site registrations will start on May 24, 2012, at
07.00.
• To register on-site you will have to use the self-service
computers in the Registrations Area of the Palais
des Congrès (‘New Registrations’ counters). The
Registration Counters will be operative until 18.00.
• You will receive your badge and vouchers immediately,
and then you will be able to collect your bag, lanyard
and badge holder at the Bag Distribution counters by
having your badge scanned.
• If you are already a Full Member, an Associate Member,
a Senior Member or a Junior Member of ERA-EDTA
you will need your Membership Number to obtain the
discounted rate, so remember to have it with you. If

you are planning to register as an ERA-EDTA member,
we strongly suggest that you become one and/or pay
your 2012 ERA-EDTA membership fee no later than
May 14, 2012.
• You can pay by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or by
cash (Euro is the only accepted currency).
• You can make your payment in advance by direct
money transfer (same account as for pre-registrations)
and bring the original debit slip issued by your bank,
with you.
• We regret to inform that payments by cheque cannot
be accepted.

NOTES to the ON-SITE FEES
*In order to be eligible for this fee, students/trainees
must be 35 years old, if the birth year is not earlier
than 1977 and the registration is not sponsored. You
must personally hand in a photocopy of your picture
ID (passport, identity card, driving license), show
your original student’s card and give a letter from your
mentor/university to prove your student/trainee status.
ERA-EDTA reserves the right to verify all declarations.
**This exceptionally low congress membership fee is
reserved for students living in the country where the
congress is held (France). In order to be eligible for this fee,
local students must be 28 years old, if the birth year is not
earlier than 1984 and the registration is not sponsored. In
order to register with this special fee you must personally
hand in a photocopy of your picture ID (passport, identity
card, driving license), show your original French student’s
card and give a signed original letter from your French
mentor/university to prove your student status. ERA-EDTA
reserves the right to verify all declarations.
1 Day registrations cannot be made in advance and
are available only on-site, starting May 24, 2012.
This type of registration entitles to admission to the
session and poster halls only on the date mentioned
on the congress badge and to receive the bag (type
2), the proper EACCME/UEMS Credits and Certificate
of Attendance for that same day. The badge will not
have the participant’s name on it, but only the date of
participation.
It is also possible to make two one-day registrations
if you are able to attend the congress for two days
(consecutive or not).
These fees are available only on-site.
