Liberty HouseLiberty House is conveniently located just a ten-minute walk from KIC London and close to City University, where studentsbenefit from access to computer, library and other university facilities. The residence is situated in the Angel Islington area ofLondon, with a variety of shops, cinemas, numerous restaurants and bars, as well as a number of supermarkets, Chapel Marketand Exmouth Market.Liberty House is a secure residence with CCTV and an electronic entry system for access both to the residence and bedrooms.The residence offers free internet access, free access to gym facilities and a sociable common room with an internet café andpool table. Booking your accommodationWe will always try to place you in your first choice of accommodation, if available. Our accommodation is extremely popular andplaces are allocated on a first come, first served basis, so we recommend you book as early as possible to have the best chanceof getting the accommodation you want!Step 1Complete the accommodation bookingform for your preferred accommodationoption and submit to the College tomake the booking.Step 2Return the signed tenancy agreementto the College and pay the requiredfirst rent instalment within one week inorder to secure your room.Step 3You must confirm your arrival details tothe College before the accommodationconfirmation date stated on thetenancy agreement.You must select the accommodationoption with the correct contractlength for the course you have beenoffered - refer to Appendix for the fullaccommodation options.You will be asked on your bookingform to provide the name andcontact information of a guarantor forpayment. A guarantor is someone whowill become legally responsible for anyoutstanding payments related to youraccommodation.Please note: it will not be possible tochange your contract length once youhave booked and signed your tenancyagreement. Please only select optionsyou would be willing to accept.Once you have completed andreturned your accommodation bookingform, you will receive information onthe room you have been allocated byemail, along with a tenancy agreementand information on payment.Please note: you will not be able togain access to your room until wehave a copy of your signed tenancyagreement and have received your firstpayment.By signing your tenancy agreement,under UK law you are agreeing to payfor the room allocated for the fullduration of the contract. Also note,should you request to leave the Collegefor any reason, accommodation feesare non-refundable.When you do confirm your arrivaldetails, you will then be offered thenext available room.We specify an accommodationconfirmation date for each intake.This will usually be eight days prior tothe main arrival weekend.
