(Photography: Neil Danton)Future for Business Graduateslooks BrightThe winners <strong>of</strong> the UCC Transition Year Business ProjectAwards, supported by <strong>Cork</strong> <strong>Chamber</strong> with main sponsorsBNY Mellon, were named at a ceremony in UCC on May12th. 40 school teams from the Munster and South Eastregions entered this year’s awards. “Fashion Formula” fromMount St Michael, Rosscarbery was chosen as this year’swinning project. “Memory Fountain” by CBS The Green,Tralee and “net2go - Technonet Ltd.” by St. Brogan’s College,Bandon were awarded with 2nd and 3rd place prizesrespectively.President John Mullins congratulated all that tookpart saying that “The <strong>Chamber</strong> is pleased to have theopportunity to support these awards in conjunction withsponsors BNY Mellon and partners University College<strong>Cork</strong>. This year, students were also askedby the judging panel to demonstrate how businesses canplay an active part in their local economies to facilitatethe economic, educational and socially responsibledevelopment <strong>of</strong> their communities.”Mr. Eoin Motherway, Head <strong>of</strong> Ireland Fund Accountingwith BNY Mellon and Chairman <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Chamber</strong>’s FinancialServices Working Group, stated that “The quality <strong>of</strong>entries into this year’s competition was impressive.
