In addition to directing in New York City, as well as all around the United States,Rob has directed over one hundred theatre productions for young audiences, many of which werefor <strong>Theatreworks</strong> <strong>USA</strong>, such as: Charlotte’s Web; Ramona Quimby; Little Women; Around theWorld in Eighty Days; and Romeo and Juliet. He is also a produced playwright, and some of themusicals he has co-authored include adaptations of Ferdinand the Bull, and The Phantom of theOpera. A number of his plays have been produced at the Mountain Playhouse in Pennsylvania,including a work about the Johnstown Flood of 1889 (5/31/89: The Flood) and a play about thelife of George Washington (The Road to Washington). A graduate of the Yale School of Drama,Brown University and the Phillips Exeter Academy, Rob is also a theatre professor at the CityCollege of New York (CUNY); a happy husband; and the proud father of an eight year old and atwo year old.JUDY BLUME (Author) is the author of many many books, including Are You There God?It's Me, Margaret; Blubber; Just as Long as We're Together; and the five book series aboutthe irrepressible Fudge. Altogether, her books have sold more than 80 million copies, andher work has been translated into thirty-one languages. Judy received a B.S. in Educationfrom New York University in 1961, and she has also received the Library of Congress LivingLegends Award, the 2004 National Book Foundation's Medal for Distinguished Contributionto American Letters, and in 2009 the University of Southern Mississippi Medallion for herlifelong contributions to the field of children's literature. She is the founder and trustee of


The Kids Fund, a charitable and educational foundation; she serves on the boards of theAuthor's Guild, the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, the Key WestLiterary Seminar, and the National Coalition Against Censorship; and she is a longtimeadvocate of intellectual freedom. Judy and her husband George Cooper live on islands upand down the east coast, and have three grown children and one grandchild.RON CARLOS (Peter) Ron Carlos is thrilled to be making his Two Beans debut. Recently hehas been seen as Sergei and Masha in the reading of the new musical The Harvest and as Iris inThe Shamelessly Unauthorized Parody of Drop Dead Gorgeous. Ron has been seen at the BucksCounty Playhouse as Baby John in West Side Story, Junior in Crazy For You, and various rolesin 42nd Street and Thouroughly Modern Millie. Ron would like to thank his friends,family, and castmates for all of their support and a big thank you to Rob and Wayne for makingthis journey possible.JACKIE GEORGES (Stage Manager) is happy to be working on her second production withTwo Beans. She is arecent graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), and holds a B.A. inTheater from Agnes Scott College. While she has never swallowed a live turtle, her favoriteflowers to munch on are daisies. She thanks her family, friends, and Colby for their love andsupport.JEFF LUNDEN (Composer) composed the score for the award-winning adaptation of ArthurKopit’s Wings (book and lyrics by Arthur Perlman), produced at the Joseph Papp Public Theaterin New York (1994 Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Off-Broadway Musical) and TheGoodman Theatre in Chicago (Joseph Jefferson Award for Best New Work/Adaptation). Otherworks include Another Midsummer Night (The Goodman Theatre, American Music TheaterFestival & <strong>Theatreworks</strong> Palo Alto), Once on a Summer's Day (Ensemble Studio Theatre), TheDevil in the Flesh (Richard Rodgers Award, York Theater) and three family musicals for<strong>Theatreworks</strong>/<strong>USA</strong>, including adaptations of The Little Prince and Huckleberry Finn. He iscurrently working with Mr. Perlman on an adaptation of Laura Esquivel’s Swift as Desire. Mr.Lunden has written incidental music for several plays, including Arcadia (The GoodmanTheatre, Pittsburgh Public Theater & Arena Stage) and Syncopation (Long Wharf Theatre, TheGeorge Street Theatre & The Winter Garden, Toronto). He wrote songs and incidental music forTwo Beans’ recent production of James and the Giant Peach. He is also a freelance radioproducer, whose stories have been heard on National Public Radio’s All Things Considered,Morning Edition, Performance Today and Weekend Edition, as well as other public radioprograms, such as Weekend America, Studio 360 and Marketplace.KIM MEAD (Mom) is a California girl who now calls New York City home. Shereceived her BA from Cal State Fullerton and her MFA from the University of Florida (GoGators!). JOE NOLIN (Dad, Jimmy, Sam, Dr. Brown) is thrilled to be touring with Two BeansProductions! He is a recent graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy andFordham University, as well as a proud New Jersey native. Regional credits include SouthPacific (Galveston Island Musicals), Dial M For Murder (Cortland Rep), and The Night theMusic Died (Granbury Opera House). Other favorites include Footloose, Songs For a NewWorld, The Fantasticks, Noises Off, and Tommy. New York credits include: The Long Island Shakespeare Festival'sproductions of The Taming of the Shrew (Bianca), The Merry Wives of Windsor (Anne Page,Bardolf, Robin), and Much Ado About Nothing (Hero). Regional credits include: Black Comedy(Clea) at The Perseverance Theatre in Juneau, AK, and a completed internship with the MaineState Music Theatre.
