APPLICATION INFORMATIONULTRATHANE 5270UT 5270Page 2MethodMay be applied only by high pressure, heated, pluralcomponent, 1:1 proportioned, airless spray equipment.Gusmer GX-7 and GX-8 spray guns have proved suitable.Proportioner must be equipped with pre-heaters and heatedhoses. Typical application parameters are as follows:Pressure:Pre-heaters:Hose:Above 70°F (21°C)2000-2500 psi140-150°F (60-66°C)140-150°F (60-66°C)Application TemperatureMaterial TemperaturePrecondition Component A and Component B to 70°F-80°F(21°-27°C) before use.Do not store material at temperatures below 60°F (16°C).Mold Temperature75°F-125°F (24°-52°C).Better to use 125°F (52°C) when used with a water based “inmoldcoating”.MixingAfter preconditioning to 70°-80°F (21°C-27°C), power mix the“B” component using clean impeller-type power mixer. Mixthoroughly for about 15 minutes, component “A” does notrequire mixing. Purge all containers with Nitrogen or dry air.Cure TimeThe curing rate will vary depending on film thickness, ambientair and substrate temperatures and humidity.Tack FreeFull CureSafety InformationSurface Temperature70°F (24°C)
