Daniel and Michelle Seymour<br />
Brother and sister Daniel and Michelle Seymour were<br />
born in Tokyo, Japan, and raised in the <strong>Flathead</strong><br />
<strong>Valley</strong>. In their early teens, their family uprooted back<br />
to Japan to help their grandparents’ church. When the<br />
Seymours returned, Michelle and Daniel were ready<br />
to begin college but had a difficult time adjusting to<br />
the cultural differences. They were thankful FVCC<br />
was there to help them with the transition. Among<br />
the first class of Scholars Program graduates, Michelle<br />
was awarded a 2 Plus 2 Honor Scholarship from the<br />
Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education, and<br />
this fall, she transferred to Montana State University<br />
to continue her studies in secondary education and<br />
Japanese studies. Daniel founded his own professional<br />
photography company, Sharpeye Photography, and is a<br />
staff photographer for 406 Woman magazine.<br />
