Tell others about our THIRD Worship Service of the week, CelebrateRecovery – Friday nights from 6-9pm.Celebrate Recovery is a Christian based Twelve Step Program for all people dealing withproblems of alcoholism • divorce • sexual abuse • codependency • domestic violence • enabling• drug addictions • sexual addiction • eating disorders • gambling addiction • lonelinessand any kind of hurts, habits, or hang-ups. Who doesn’t have one of these?Celebrate Recovery is every Friday night at First Church Port Orange. We begin at 6pm for dinner fellowship, 7pm Large Group Worship and8pm for small group sharing (broken out by habit or hang-up and male/female). There is even some coffee fellowship at 9-9:30pm.For children, we offer childcare for those 5 and under. For those 6-12 years, Celebration Station. Its a 12 step program for kids that mirrors whatthe adults are learning in an environment that is fun, fast, and moving. This is for any child, not just whose parents are in CR. All the people whowork with any of the children are background checked and have been throught the Child Protection Services course.We want everyone to feel like they have a safe place to come on a Friday night. Pass it on.LOVE IN STITCHES JULY 2010The sewing quilting group LOVE IN STITCHES keeps going full tilt throughout the summer months. We will meet inJuly the 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th. We meet in Founders Hall from 9 to about 1. We stop a little earlier during the hotsummer months. We have pizza every 3rd Monday and a meeting on the last Monday of the month.If you have time, stop in and see the progression of a quilt being made for a child.
