Parents’ Association Meeting
Friday 21st 11am in the Boardroom
Parents’ Association Charity Ball
This is our biggest event of the year and we need to get started NOW! Anyone who is
interested in helping with this event out first meeting is on Monday 24th at 9.30am in
Chatterbox Cafe. There are many ways to get involved; Entertainment, Sponsorship,
Decorations and much more. Please come along if you are interested or email

PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION TALK
On Wednesday 26th September a paediatrician from Beijing United Hospital will come to
the school to talk about health issues in Beijing, specifically children’s health. This talk will
be in the Boardroom at 9am and is open to all parents who are interested.
International Day is on October 19th
On this day we celebrate the cultural diversity of our school. Currently we have over
60 different nationalities at our school but many countries do not yet have a stand at

Dr. Leila Sabet, MD MPH
Dr. Sabet is from the USA. She completed her bachelor’s degree summa
cum laude at the University of Florida and has a master’s degree in Public
Health from the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins
University. Before joining BJU, Dr. Sabet worked at Howard University and
the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington D.C.
Dr. Sabet speaks English and intermediate Spanish.
