This is our biggest event of the year and we need to get started NOW! Anyone who is<br />
interested in helping with this event out first meeting is on Monday 24th at 9.30am in<br />
Chatterbox Cafe. There are many ways to get involved; Entertainment, Sponsorship,<br />
Decorations and much more. Please come along if you are interested or email<br />

PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION TALK<br />
On Wednesday 26th <strong>September</strong> a paediatrician from Beijing United Hospital will come to<br />
the school to talk about health issues in Beijing, specifically children’s health. This talk will<br />
be in the Boardroom at 9am and is open to all parents who are interested.<br />
International Day is on October 19th<br />
On this day we celebrate the cultural diversity of our school. Currently we have over<br />
60 different nationalities at our school but many countries do not yet have a stand at<br />

Dr. Leila Sabet, MD MPH<br />
Dr. Sabet is from the USA. She completed her bachelor’s degree summa<br />
cum laude at the University of Florida and has a master’s degree in Public<br />
Health from the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins<br />
University. Be<strong>for</strong>e joining BJU, Dr. Sabet worked at Howard University and<br />
the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington D.C.<br />
Dr. Sabet speaks English and intermediate Spanish.
