in quality workers.

largely untapped labour source that are very
capable of learning the necessary skills to
succeed in the industry.

The Training Concept
� The drilling rig training program was
developed to promote a win-win
solution in training participants with
real skills required in the industry &
for industry to retain more long-term
successful employees.

Trainee Selection
There are specific entry requirements
and Trainees are screened by:
� Community Representative
� Western Lakota Rig Manager
� Training Program Manager
� Training Instructor

Program Delivery Outline
The 14 day program is provided to trainees in
their community and consists of 3 main
components:
� Personal Empowerment Training
( B + T + F + A = R)
� Rig Theory/Practical & Safety Ticket Training
� Job Maintenance Training
( F/ S/ N/ P)

Workplace Training Overview
� Trainees complete the 14 days
successfully.
� An evaluation process is
completed.
� Marketing of successful trainees
begins.

Workplace Training
� The workplace training
component is a critical aspect for
the trainees to put the skills
they’ve acquired to use and learn
new on the job skills.
