Requirements● Must have a Preliminary Audit Assessment Completed● Must indicate scope of work, cost, and impact●20% Cost Match● Grant is $1,000,000● You must contribute $250,000● Total Project = $1,250,0007


Important Dates● Application is due on September 24, 2010 by 2:00 PM CST● Delivered to Comptroller’s Office●Project must be completed by December 31, 2011●Extensions are available only until April 20128


SECO Loan● Round III of the new version of “Loan Star”●“Loan Star” will now be a bi-annual offering● 10 year loan at 2% interest●Infrastructure Improvements for <strong>Energy</strong> <strong>Efficiency</strong>● HVAC, Lighting, Renewables, Water Conservation….9


Requirements●Install energy conservation measures● Must have a 10 year payback on each measure● Payback includes 2% financing●Include at least 10% renewables for a 15 year payback●Must be done through Performance Contracting Mechanism● Follow 44.901 Education Code10
