This Web application for home inventory management of
consumables is accessible from any browser-enabled or
android device. It can send SmS messages about low-stock
items and create a shopping list based on projected needs.
Design of a Wireless Charging System for
a Computer Mouse
Faculty Adviser: Dr. Roger King
Students: Andrew Aken, James Jeurgens and James Begell
This team has created a mouse pad that utilizes the theory
of magnetic inductance as part of a wireless charging system
for a wireless mouse. The system will utilize capacitors as
the charging device, which will be encased in a battery pack
to operate any wireless mouse.
Online Image Metadata Collection for
Geographical Analysis
Faculty Advisers: Dr. Lawrence Thomas and
Dr. Ezzatollah Salari
Students: Vlad Coman, Stuart Dunn and Austin Taylor
This software system crawls the Web for images and collects
their embedded metadata. It then builds a database with the
extracted data for use by companies, organizations and
news outlets.
