General InformationLOCATION AND ROOM RESERVATIONSThe courses will be held at The Westin SanDiego, 400 West Broadway, San Diego,California 92101. The AADSM has reserveda block of guest rooms at The Westin SanDiego at a special group rate. Space islimited, so please make reservations wellin advance. The room rate at the hotel is$189.00 per night plus tax and is only validuntil Friday, September 20, 2013, or untilthe room block sells out. Reservations mustbe made by individual attendees directlywith the hotel’s reservation departmentby calling 888-627-9033. To receive thespecial group rate, you must identify yourselfas part of the AADSM course group. Checkintime is 3:00pm and check-out time is12:00pm on the day of departure.MEALSBreakfast and lunch will be served onSaturday, and breakfast will be served onSunday. Lunch will be served on Sundayfor attendees of the Practice Managementcourse; all other meals are the responsibilityof the attendees. Only registeredattendees are allowed to attend mealfunctions. Guests of attendees will not beaccommodated during meal functions.TRANSPORTATIONAttendees may contact Corporate Travel topurchase airline tickets. Call toll-free (800)526-4540 on Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm Central. We suggest you make yourtravel arrangements as soon as you receiveyour registration confirmation.The airport nearest to The Westin SanDiego is the San Diego InternationalAirport. The hotel is approximately 3.5miles from the airport. The Westin SanDiego provides complimentary shuttleservice to/from the San Diego InternationalAirport and The Westin San Diego between6:00am and 11:00pm, 7 days a week.Once you have collected your luggage,Register online at www.aadsm.orgplease contact the hotel at (619) 239-4500and an operator will give you directions tothe pick up area and an estimated time ofarrival as to when the driver will be thereto pick you up. If you wish to take the hotelshuttle to the airport after the course,please make arrangements at the luggagedesk 24 hours prior to your departure.CONFIRMATIONConfirmations will be sent via e-mail withinone week of receipt of registration formand payment. All participants must preregisterfor courses; on-site registrationwill not be accepted.The AADSM will not be held liable if anindividual purchases an airline ticket beforereceiving confirmation of registration forthis course.CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICYTo cancel a registration, written notificationmust be submitted to the AADSM. A$50.00 administrative fee will be withheldon cancellations postmarked prior toFriday, September 27, 2013. After thisdate, no refunds will be available. Refundsare not provided to no-shows. The AADSMreserves the right to cancel the courseand provide a full refund should conditionswarrant. The refund will only include thecost of registration for the course.RECORDINGPhotographing and/or recording, of anykind, of sessions and speakers at itscourses are strictly prohibited.DRESS CODEDress code at the courses is businesscasual.
