5.5 Environmental Behavior during the Operational Life of the ChainWithin the operational phase of the life-cycle we have only taken into accounttransportation of the chain by vessel (the only possible method of transport due tovolume and weight) to the place in which the chain will be used by the client. Toestimate the distance that the vessel will travel we have based our evaluation on otherorders delivered in the year 2008, and then an estimation of the average distance foreach journey.
