Ms Uma Ramani,Trainer, Association <strong>Montessori</strong> International, USA,gave her presentation on 'Development of InnerDiscipline and Responsibilities'.Through astory showedwith the help of some educators, she gave theparticipants to understand that teaching young childrenis easier if taught through a story as it helps themunderstand things easily and joyfully. Mr. E S Shaji,FounderofJodoGyangavehispresentation'DiscoveringWhat's Possible' on Hands on Mathematics anddemonstrated several methods to teach maths throughplay way method. He said that children even at the agecanbeinspiredtolearnmathematics.Ms Sonia Relia, trainer, Oxford University Presspresented her interactive session on the topic 'Inspirethe Next'. She said that story telling, activity, video,poem, themebased activity,craft,dance and drama arethe best ways to teach tiny-tots. On the topic 'AnOverview of Pre-Primary and Primary Education inMautirius', Mr Madhukar Narain, renownededucationist, Chairman, Early Childhood Care andEducation, Mauritius,advised to allow tiny-tots to seethis beautifulworld and feelits power within them,findanswerstotheirqueriesandthentheywillbecomeworldcitizens. Mr SpokeyWheeler conducted aworkshopon'<strong>School</strong> Self Review and Evaluation Diagnostic' andadvocatedtheneedforassigninggreaterprojectworktostudents about educationofdaily life.The educationistsvisited CMS Gomti Nagar Iwhere the tiny-tots of KGpresented awonderful 'Model Class'. They also visitedtheRoboticsLabofPre-PrimarySectionandenjoyedtheMusicalNite.On the third and last day, Chief Guest, Mr ShaileshKrishna,IAS,PrincipalSecretary,Labour,UP,litthelampof learning and awarded the participants who hadpresented the best paper. The teachers of JodhamalPublic<strong>School</strong>,Jammupresentedprayersong, 'TuHiRamHai, Tu Hi Rahim Hai' and Kathak Sansthan presented'Ghunghroo’.Inthemorningsession MsTeenazReporterofAMI,theNetherlands highlightedthepowerofsilencethrough her presentation, 'Silence Game'. She said thatthemeaningofsilenceshouldbetaughttochildrenrightfrom entering the classroom, sitting, putting books etc.so that they recognize its power.Similarly, Ms MariaLaura Fueretes presented 'Use of story tellingtechniques in the Pre-Primary and Primary Classrooms'and spoke on teaching through activities. She said thatinformation technology is indispensable in modern age,so children should be encouraged to write themselves.DrSunitaGandhi,ChiefAcademicAdvisorandPresidentof Council for Global Education, USA, presented'Implementing Reform: AChecklist for Driving Change -our own Report Card' and Ms Nita Ganguli presented 'Asession on sensitizing teachers towards the role ofenvironmentinthedevelopmentofthechild'.Ms Susmita Basu, Head,QAID and Convenor of ICPPP-2013, heartily thanked theparticipantsand saidthatwehave to take out education from classrooms andassociate it with life and instil immense confidence instudents to enable them to face future challenges.SecretaryoftheconferenceandPrincipalofCMSJoplingRoad, Mrs Manju Nautiyal, expressed gratitude to theFounders and renowned educationists, Dr JagdishGandhiandDr(Mrs)BhartiGandhiwhoseuntiringeffortsandguidancetoledthesuccessoftheconference.Mrs Manju Nautiyal, Secretary of ICPPP-2013 andPrincipal of CMS Jopling Road campus opined thatrenowned educationists from across the world willdevelop such useful educational strategies and teachingmethods here that it willbenefit the world of educationandbringaboutrevolutionary changesin themethodofteaching,makingitmorescientificandlogical.InternationalConferenceof Pre-PrimaryandPrimary PrincipalsOrganized by:Quality Assuranceand Innovations DepartmentByfailingtoprepare,youarepreparingtofail.-BenjaminFranklin
