Electro-Hydraulic (E/H) HousingThe E/H Housings consists of multiple solenoidactuators, pilot valves, differential pressuretransducers, and pressure switches for enhancedcommand and monitoring capabilities. Watersensors have also been supplied to provide anadditional layer of diagnostics for sensing water inthe housings. The E/H Housings can accept up toone-hundred, thirty four (134) devices total.Pressure transfer assemblies have been suppliedto provide dielectric volume compensation up to12,500 feet of seawater (fsw). Lower Valve Unit (LVU)Sub-plate mounted (SPM) valve manifolds areprovided to supply control fluid to individuallymounted, one half (1/2) inch, one (1.0) inch,and one and one half (1-1/2) inch SPM valves.Additionally, SPM valves can be supplied witheither normally “open” or normally “closed” valvepositions.The LVU comes equipped with a fully retractable(into the pod assembly) lower stack interfaceusing telescoping piping. Furthermore, all LVUpiping utilizes “quick-connect” type connectors forenhanced serviceability. Valves and regulatorsare also equipped with “quick-connect” seal-subconnections for hassle-free repairs.In addition, the LVU is supplied with a LMRP podreceiver and lower stack pod receiver to enable a“quick disconnect” of the pod (from the BOP stack)for scheduled maintenance. Pressure assist packerseals have been provided for exceptional hydraulic“receiver” stab seal performance.The LVU comes equipped with a regulator manifoldthat provides pressure to meet specific “stack”circuit requirements.
