Limitations of the Green Revolution• The Green Revolution, NOT succeeded in makingIndia totally and permanently self-sufficient in food• India failed to extend the concept of high-yield valueseeds to all crops or all regions Only Punjab andHaryana states and eastern plains of the River Gangesin West Bengal state showed the best results.
